Abstract: This is a national cross-sectional, hospital-based study, which interviewed 23,894 postpartum women in 2011-2012 aiming to estimate the prevalence of alcohol use during pregnancy and identifying more vulnerable groups. Alcohol was identified using TWEAK scale, with score ≥ 2 were classified as having “presumable diagnosis inadequate use”. The subgroups calculated according maternal characteristics, respective 95% confidence intervals (95%CI). Coexistence smoking, prenatal consultations, graphically identified. 14% (95%CI: 13.3-14.7), 10% 9.3-10.6) presenting presumable us pregnancy.
